3 Noon Foreclosure Clinic Starts: 12:00 pm Ends: February 3, 2023 - 1:00 pm Location: Lakeside Community Development, 6636 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60626, United States Description: Many homeowners are struggling to make their mortgage payments. Fortunately, a number of government and private programs have been put in place to help homeowners avoid mortgage default and foreclosure. Lakeside provides counseling to individuals who are concerned about losing their homes to foreclosure. Counseling sessions are designed to identify the cause of the mortgage delinquency and develop an action plan for resolving the problem and bring the borrower current. More details...

10 Pre-Purchase Certification 1 Starts: 5:00 pm Ends: February 10, 2023 - 9:00 pm Location: Lakeside Community Development, 6636 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60626, United States Description: This first class of two meetings includes an introduction to home purchasing, lender relationships, managing money and credit. This class places you on the path to homeownership and is required if you are seeking grant assistance through IHDA and many banks.
